Abu Dhabi Full-Day Sightseeing Tour from Dubai with Mosque Visit

About this experience

RAH Tourism fits about eight stops into nine hours: the Emirates Heritage Village on the breakwater, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (up to 2 hours in the itinerary), a Ferrari World photo stop on Yas Island, Corniche beach, five minutes outside Qasr Al Watan, the Miraj Islamic art centre and the dates market. Guests report a lunch break at a mall on top. Most describe an SUV or a van, with a driver who is also the guide.

Here's what the low price leaves out. Ferrari World means the entrance and the gift shop, not a ride. The art centre and the dates market are shops, and several guests call the selling pushy: one wrote in October 2026 that 2 to 3 hours went on shops. Qasr Al Watan is a photo from the outside. Lunch and tips are extra. The inclusions don't name a mosque ticket either. A guest in October 2026 wrote that the ticket was "included and provided", but confirm when you book, since the mosque has charged visitors with a tour operator AED 8 each since September 2026.

Still, nothing cheaper gets you to the mosque with hotel pickup and a guide. Women borrow an abaya, though one guest in February 2026 found them a poor fit, so pack a scarf and long sleeves anyway. Men need knees and shoulders covered at the very least, and the mosque's dress code asks for clothing that covers the entire legs. Ask the driver if the mosque can come last: guests who ended there saw the sunset and the lights come on.

  • Up to 2 hours at the Grand Mosque
  • The Heritage Village, the Corniche and the dates market in one day
  • Pickup from central Dubai and both cruise terminals
  • Abaya lent to women
  • The lowest from-price of any guided day from Dubai

How the day runs

  1. MorningPickup in Dubai

From hotels, apartments, Port Rashid or Dubai Harbour. Guests say the driver sends the time and the mosque dress rules by WhatsApp the night before.

  2. About 1.5 hDrive south

The ride to Abu Dhabi, with commentary from your driver-guide.

  3. About 1 hHeritage Village and Corniche

Palm-frond houses, a mud-brick tower and an old well on the breakwater, then 15 minutes on Corniche beach.

  4. Up to 2 hSheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

The courtyard, the arcades and the prayer hall. Some drivers go early, others save it for sunset.

  5. 1 to 2 hYas Island, art centre, dates

A Ferrari World photo stop, the Miraj Islamic art centre and the dates market, with a mall lunch somewhere in between.

  6. EveningBack to Dubai

Allow for traffic. A guest coming from Sharjah reports 2.5 to 3 hours each way.

★★★★★

Don’t think twice - this trip is a packed day with excellent guide and amazing value for money [...] The Mosque was incredible (ticket included and provided), and the art gallery very interesting. The Dates market was tasty - be careful you don’t spend too much, negotiate

Very nice tour to Abu Dhabi. Our tour guide ,Qasim, was very kind and informative. There were a couple stops along the way, Ferrari World, a chocolate and herb shop, and an art gallery. We also stopped for lunch at a mall before heading to Mosque.

Its a worthwhile experience, just to see the mosque alone. The queues are long to get in though, and there is quite a walk inside the building to get to the main part. [...] The driver sends a confirmation whatts app the night before, and a set of mosque dress code rules.

Tips before you book

  • Bargain at the dates market and in the art centre, or simply don't buy. Nobody is owed a purchase.
  • Ask to finish at the mosque. Guests who did got the sunset and the lighting.
  • Bring cash for a tip: gratuities are not included.
  • Avoid Fridays. The mosque closes to visitors from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm for prayer, which squeezes the day (official visiting hours).
  • Women: pack your own scarf even though an abaya is lent.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Grand Mosque ticket included on the RAH Tourism budget tour?

The listing doesn't name one. A guest in October 2026 wrote that the ticket was included and handed over, but confirm in the booking chat: since September 2026 visitors arriving with a tour operator pay AED 8 each. The tickets and hours guide has the fee rules.

How long is the stop at the mosque?

The itinerary allows up to 2 hours at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre. That includes the walk in from the underground visitor centre and back, and guests found it enough for the courtyard and the prayer hall.

Are there shopping stops on the budget tour?

Yes. The Miraj Islamic art centre and the dates market are shops, and guests also mention a chocolate and herb shop. Several reviews call the sellers pushy. Bargain, or tell the driver at the start that you'd rather skip them.

Do you go inside Ferrari World or Qasr Al Watan?

No. Ferrari World is a photo stop at the entrance on Yas Island, and Qasr Al Watan is a five-minute stop outside. For the palace interior, the OceanAir day tour includes the ticket.
