Desert Fun Tourism · Dubai
A private driver-guide picks you up anywhere in Dubai, Sharjah or Abu Dhabi and works through a long list of stops, from the Grand Mosque and Emirates Palace to the Heritage Village and Yas Island. Pick it if you start outside central Dubai, or want a private car you can reshape as you go.

Desert Fun Tourism sends a car and a driver-guide; Amin, Adnan, Atif and Saeed are the names guests repeat. The listed plan is long: the Grand Mosque, Emirates Palace, a drive past Qasr Al Watan, the Heritage Village, the Miraj Islamic art centre, a carpet souk, Marina Mall, the dates market, a Ferrari World photo stop and drives past Yas Island and Saadiyat beach. Pickup works from anywhere in Dubai, Sharjah or Abu Dhabi, and you should be in the lobby 15 to 30 minutes early.
The listing is frank about one thing: "there are some places for shopping", where sellers charge "very high prices", and it advises you to bargain or not buy. Take it at its word. It's less frank about the mosque, listed at just 30 minutes, which barely covers the walk from the visitor centre to the prayer hall. Because the car is yours, ask for 1.5 to 2 hours and drop the carpet souk. "All fees and taxes" are included, but the listing doesn't say which entries, so ask whether the AED 8 the mosque charges tour-operator visitors since September 2026 is covered. Abayas "can be available at the mosque (subject to availability)": bring your own.
Most guests describe a driver who also guides, explains the history and times the stops ahead of the coach groups. One in February 2025 felt he had a driver and not a guide, so ask for commentary if you want it. The car isn't wheelchair accessible, but one guest's driver arranged a wheelchair at the mosque for her mother: security lends them on request.
Be at your lobby 15 to 30 minutes before the pickup time; the driver keeps in touch by WhatsApp.

★★★★★This private tour exceeded our expectations. The private tour allows you to escape the crowds as our guide Amin timed all our visits ahead of the large groups.
★★★★★After lunch we headed over to the art gallery which has stunning pieces to look at and purchase. Be mindful to bargain if you want to purchase or you may pay more than what it's worth.
★★★★★We arranged for pickup at Dubai airport since we flew in early morning. We only wanted to go to 4 locations and he helped us figure out the best timeline.
★★★★★Saeed was very kind to my mother who needed a little assistance getting around with her walker. He made sure to get my mother a wheelchair to make it easier for her to navigate through and see The Great Mosque in Abu Dhabi.

The listing says 30 minutes, which is too short to reach the prayer hall without rushing. As the car is private, ask your driver for 1.5 to 2 hours and drop a shopping stop instead.
No. $250 covers the car and driver for up to six people. Lunch and anything you buy are extra.
The listing includes "all fees and taxes" but doesn't list the entries. Since September 2026 the mosque charges AED 8 per visitor arriving with a tour operator, so confirm it's covered when you book. The tickets and hours guide explains.
Yes: the Miraj Islamic art centre, a carpet souk and the dates market are on the plan, and the listing warns that prices there are high. It's a private tour, so you can skip them.
