Mosque, palace and Louvre

A full day from Dubai in a car or van of up to 15 people: the Grand Mosque, Emirates Palace, the Heritage Village, the dates market and a ticket for the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Pick it if you want inside the Louvre without paying coach-tour prices.

Abu Dhabi City Tour, Grand Mosque, Emirates Palace & The Louvre

About this experience

This is the same company as the budget day tour, with a Louvre ticket added and the group capped at 15. Guests describe SUVs and minivans with a driver-guide. Pickup is between 9:00 and 9:30 am and drop-off between 6:00 and 6:30 pm. In between: the Grand Mosque, Emirates Palace, a drive past Qasr Al Watan and the Etihad Towers, the Heritage Village, the dates market, about an hour at the Louvre Abu Dhabi and a Ferrari World photo stop. The listing gives no fixed time at the mosque.

The Louvre is closed on Mondays, so don't book one. A guest in December 2025 was told by the guide that the museum was closed on a day it was open, so check the museum's own hours (Tuesday to Thursday 10 am to 6:30 pm, Friday to Sunday until 8:30 pm). The museum is free for under-18s, yet one family says Viator charged their children adult rates: look at the child price before you pay. The mosque ticket isn't named in the inclusions, and visitors with a tour operator pay AED 8 each since September 2026, so ask.

Guests also describe mixed bookings in one car, where people with different itineraries negotiate the stops and some wait while others do the Louvre. There's a mall lunch and at least one sales stop (an art gallery, sometimes a rug shop). When it works, it covers a lot for the money, and the small vehicle is a real plus. An hour in the Louvre is short: one car of six skipped a shopping stop to get more museum time.

What guests say

★★★★★

It was only 6 of us in the air conditioned car and it was perfect. The activities planned gave us just the right amount of time to enjoy the experience.

Maria G. · Nov 2025
★★★★★

It was nice that we were in a van with only 10 guests instead of a big bus. [...] Glad we went to the Grand Mosque first and early as the que to get in was still short but got very long later in the day.

Sheila A. · Feb 2024
★★★★★

The trip to The Grand Mosque was an amazing highlight and worth the trip alone. We had plenty of time at each stop. [...] It is a long, full on tour and we were exhausted after it.

Karen L. · May 2025
★★★★★

Highlights were the Mosque and the Louvre Museum. [...] Our car of 6 people waived off the other clearly shopping stop to spend more time at the museum.

Tips before you book

  • Don't book a Monday. The Louvre is closed and the day loses its main reason.
  • Check the child price: the Louvre itself is free for under-18s.
  • Ask the car to drop the shopping stop in exchange for more Louvre time.
  • Ask to do the mosque first, before the queues build.
  • Bring snacks: lunch is usually at a mall, and the day ends after 6 pm.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Louvre Abu Dhabi ticket included?

Yes, admission is on the inclusion list, with about an hour in the museum in the itinerary. The Louvre charges adults AED 65 at the door and lets under-18s in free, so check the child price on your booking.

Is the Grand Mosque entry fee included?

The listing names the mosque visit but not a ticket. Since September 2026 visitors with a tour operator pay AED 8 each, so confirm in the booking chat. The tickets and hours guide has the details.

What happens if I book a Monday?

The Louvre Abu Dhabi is closed on Mondays, as the listing itself warns. Pick another day, or choose the mosque, palace and Etihad day, which doesn't depend on the museum.

How many people share the car?

Fifteen at most. Guests report cars of six and vans of ten, and one group of 22 travelled in three Land Cruisers. Expect to share with people on slightly different itineraries.
