OceanAir Travels · Dubai
A guided day from Dubai to Abu Dhabi's three headline sights: the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Qasr Al Watan presidential palace and the Etihad Towers deck. Pick it because the tickets are sorted for you, women get an abaya, and the guide handles the queues while you look up at the chandeliers.

OceanAir Travels runs the most-booked Grand Mosque day out of Dubai. A minibus collects you from your hotel, your apartment, or the Port Rashid and Dubai Harbour cruise terminals, and the guide tells the story of the seven emirates on the 130 km drive south. The first long stop is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque: about 90 minutes in the itinerary, entered through the underground visitor centre. After it come a 15-minute photo stop outside the Louvre Abu Dhabi, a lunch break, about 90 minutes at the Qasr Al Watan presidential palace and an hour on the Etihad Towers observation deck, 300 metres up on level 74.
The value is in the tickets. The mosque entry ticket is on the inclusion list, so the AED 8 per visitor that the mosque has charged people arriving with a tour operator since September 2026 is covered (see the mosque's official FAQ). The palace ticket is included too, worth about AED 65 for an adult if you buy it yourself. Women borrow a laundered, individually packed abaya and scarf. Men get nothing to borrow: long trousers and sleeves are on you, and tattoos must be covered.
Three caveats. It's a long day, 9 to 10 hours on paper, and one guest counted 12 with traffic. Lunch is at your own cost and can come late, at a mall food court. And the listing caps groups at 15, yet a guest in February 2026 counted 32 people on a tour sold as small-group. Qasr Al Watan can also shut without notice for presidential events, and guides may not guide inside the palace: yours briefs you before you go in.
From Dubai hotels, apartments and both cruise terminals. The time is confirmed by WhatsApp; airport travellers are collected at the Holiday Inn Airport hotel.
Roughly 130 km south, with the guide's commentary on the UAE, its founder and the seven emirates.
Through the underground visitor centre to the courtyard and the main prayer hall, with its carpet and crystal chandeliers. Shoes come off before the hall.
A look at the domed museum from outside. You don't go in.
Lunch at your own cost, then a shuttle bus from the palace gate and time inside the presidential palace on your own.
Views over the Corniche and Emirates Palace from level 74, then the drive back. The order can change on the day.
★★★★★This tour was fabulous. To go in the Mosque ladies need to be covered, the tour provided an Abaya and I loved it.
★★★★★Our tour guide, Hossam Hassan, was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. [...] My only wish is that we had a little more time to explore the palace and take in all of its beauty, as there was so much to see.
★★★★★He was punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable, especially at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque where his explanations made the visit much more meaningful. He paced the tour very well.
★★★★★Shabir was full of energy and information. This tour is a very long day with many queues so wear appropriate footwear. The trip allowed for bathroom breaks and water was provided.

Yes. The listing includes the Sheikh Zayed Mosque entry ticket, which covers the AED 8 per person the mosque has charged visitors with a tour operator since September 2026. The Qasr Al Watan ticket and the Etihad Towers deck are included too. The tickets and hours guide explains the new fee.
About 90 minutes in the itinerary, guided, counted from the visitor centre. That covers the courtyard, the arcades and the main prayer hall at a steady pace. If time at the mosque matters most, the mosque and Louvre day lists two hours.
Women: loose clothing to the ankles, sleeves to the wrists and a headscarf. The operator lends an abaya and scarf if you need one. Men: clothing that covers the entire legs and no sleeveless tops; nothing is lent to men. Tattoos must be covered. More in the dress code guide.
No. It's a 15-minute photo stop outside, and the museum is closed on Mondays anyway. For time in the galleries, look at the mosque and Louvre day, which gives you two hours inside. The Emirates Palace and Louvre tour includes a ticket too.
